Getting there

If arriving by Pentland Ferries, take the road from the pier towards the village, turn left in front of The Anchorage and Galley Inn and immediately right into Front Road. Look for the Craft Workshop and Loft Gallery on the left (approx 50m). The gate to the house is on the left of the building.

Coming from Kirkwall, take A961 south, through St Mary’s, across the four Churchill Barriers, to St Margaret’s Hope. Turn right into the village, left at the crossroads into Back Road, first right at the bottom of the hill then left into Front Road. The Craft Workshop and Loft Gallery is approx 50m on the right.

From the airport, either turn right on A960 to Kirkwall and follow A961 as above, or turn left towards Deerness, then right on B9052 to Toab and St Mary’s, and left on A961 at the first Barrier.
