Getting there

If arriving by Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay, take the road from the pier towards the village, turn left into Back Road then immediately left again into Front Road. Round the corner, look for the Craft Workshop and Loft Gallery on the left, approximately 50m. The gate to the house is on the left of the building.

Coming from Stromness or Kirkwall, take A961 south, through St Mary’s, across the four Churchill Barriers to St Margaret’s Hope. Turn right into the village down St Margaret's Road, left into Back Road in Cromarty Square then left into Front Road. Look for the Craft Workshop and Loft Gallery on the left. The gate to the house is on the left of the building.

Buses into St Margaret's Hope stop in Back Road and Cromarty Square. From the Square, turn into Front Road look for the Craft Workshop and Loft Gallery on the left. The gate to the house is on the left of the building.

From the airport, either turn right on A960 to Kirkwall and follow A961 as above, or turn left towards Deerness, then right on B9052 to Toab and St Mary’s, and left on A961 at the first Barrier.
